Lol, gemini4life's comment is so amusing.

Nice drawing, and once again, great work on the shadowing. But still i'm glad you have better dark colouring pencils now ^_~ I agree with previous comments about his mismatched eyes, but considering how old the drawing is, maybe it just got a little smudged or something. Also, his sword looks a bit wavy to me, not as strikingly straight as I think it should be. Anyway, good job again and congrats on finishing that interview ^^

f

I'm detecting an inside joke that only SDK fan would get, lol ><

Anyways, it's a very nice drawing, i'd say one of your best. I love all the detailing of her clothes, especially the floral patterns (at least that's what i think that is...) And the contrast between the different light and dark tones make for quite a nice striking picture. Her eyes don't seem to level, one of them is a bit too much off to the side of her face, then again, i'm not sure. Nevertheless, nicely done.

f

Long description, and I was trying so hard to not doing any reading this week...

There's something off about the proportion, I think in the left side of her face and the right side of her body (from her perspective). Also, she seems a little cross-eyed, but it's hard to tell. Might be an odd thing to say, but I really like the way her left arm is drawn (the one on her shoulder), lol. The detailing on her pants are nice as well.

f

Ugh, your submissions don't show up in my notifs anymore...or at least not on the first page..or several pages.

I love this pose of Inuyasha and that patented scowl on this face. Hmm, it looks more like the manga that the anime, am I right? Nice work on the shading and great job on detailing to top of the sword.

Wait..this you submitted this before Halloween?! Oiy i'm late...

*silently counts* 14, I can see fourteen birds ^^

Very interesting wallpaper indeed and a funny story behind it. Cool scan you've chosen and nice work on creating the shadows. The background is nice, especially the grunge-ish tan sky. Though, I dont' think I've ever seen a lighthouse that looks like that, lol. Neat idea with the imperfectionism of the posts and signs, however, maybe the indented areas should be darker to give that shadow sense. And I do like the faint dialogue over the pavement area; it reminds me movie trailers where the words move/grow/fade into and onto of the background.

One last thing to say: I was at a T&T Supermarket the other day and gosh was it scary, it was so big and so crowded, lol o_O

f

This wallpaper makes me feel really peaceful and happy, definitely a good mood-lifter ^^

It's a very nice scan, but the extraction could use so work particularly on the arms and hair. And you already know about the blurriness. It's a shame that the original scan wasn't in great condition since it's a great image. I love the background and the effects that you've added. The mist and clouds look nice and I love the sparkles over Misuzu's dress. That one part of the swirl that goes in front of her is oddly pixelated and is different from the rest of the swirl. The bird brush also seems pixelated. Great bubbles though, adds to the nice airy feel. Oh, lovely font for the title text as well ^.~ Overall, great work and best of luck in the contest!

f

Lol, I thought this drawing looked really familiar, it's like that Carnelian picture ^^ Overall, the drawing is very nice, but the lines could be cleaner. Also, Sakura's face seems oddly long and narrow. Anyway, still a great drawing, good work.

f

Another pink wallpaper, lol. The extraction needs a lot of work, it's very jagged and rough. The wings look very nice and so do the flowers. The swirls are once again messy and distracting. I love swirls, but I think they're better suited for layouts rather than wallpapers.

f

It's so pink, yet it's so sad. Nice usages of both images and how they seem to fade into each other. The gigantic pink swirls in the corners are a bit distracting and look messy. Nice centerpiece with the star and flower.

f

Nice job on the extraction, although now he doesn't seem to blend into the rest of the wallpaper, lol. The wings are really nice and I like the flowers as well. The stars are a little dark and blurry though. Anyway, nice job ^^b

f

Wow, this wallpaper looks really beautiful. However, it seems like you didn't even extract the image, just layered on some effects and brushes. Nevertheless, I love the additions you made such as the misty clouds, the flowers, and the architectural ruins in the background. The boxes at the bottom seem out of place and the huge blast of white on her dress is awkward.

f

Wow, very detailed, this certainly must've taken a long time. I agree with ayane-heine about the hair. The background is nice and the little fairies adds such a cute touch. Also love the water effect at her feet, quite magical. Great job with this one.

f

Interesting to see her with her hair all down; but I think there are too many lines and it looks kinda flat. Her body posture is somewhat off especially from the back of her neck and her shoulders. The facial profile is drawn nicely though. And your cg colouring has improved.

f

Hmm, whenever I see paired drawings it's usually Mercury & Mars and Venus & Jupiter. Their faces seem a little odd, but you probably drew this from the manga instead of the anime. The two lines about the lips and under the nose look strange, almost like a moustache, lol. Like the previous drawing, I like the flowers.

f

Hmm, admittedly I'm confused about his body position. From the top half, he appears to have his back towards us, but from the bottom half, he seems to be facing the audience. His body proportion seems a little off as well. Lol, very cute pet on his shoulder.

f

Indeed, a very interesting drawing. Colouring with pencil crayons are always hard, they turn out too grainy. Anyway, nice work with the various shading techniques and also great contrast with the warm & cold colours.

f

Hmm, I don't know what ink washing is, but it looks quite fun. The shadowing is done nicely, especially on the watch. Cute touch on the right with the batman sign, lol.

f

The scan is very nice though a little grainy/blurry. The background is quite pretty and cool symbols & patterns too. However, its somewhat distracting from the character. Anyway, nice work.

f

Wow, that kitty is so cute *_*
Anyway, I've never really seen 'pop art' before, but I'm starting to like it looking at this wallpaper. It's so unique and refreshing and I love the mix of textures and styles that are presented. Great work ^^

f

Nice wallpaper and great contrast with the black and purple colours. I especially love how her clothes blend into the water. The sparkles kinda irks me though. Anyway, nice work.

f

Nice painting Koenken. I like the composition since it shows the hectic lifestyle of Tokyo in a simplistic way. Also, I really like the sunset/rise in the background. Overally, a great work.

f

I agree, it's a very nice and tranquil scene. Some elements of the outside background seem a bit strange. The grass shouldn't start right outside the screen door, aren't this buildings usually raised slightly above the ground? The birds should have some shading to them instead of plain white. Additionally, the two upper clouds shouldn't be identical ^^;; Anyway, besides those things, the wall is still quite nice and has a lovely feel to it, good job.

f

This is an amazing vector Kai, it looks like a uber-quality poster scan ^^ And it makes for a nice photograph, though I think adding a lopsided white border frame would prefect that look. You've done a great job with vectoring and you've paid great attention to the shadowing and detailing. Some of the black outlines seem uneven in places such as the hair of the guy with the cigarette. The obelisk and the engraved logo & message are nicely done. And of course those clouds, they look awesome! Lol, IllusionistAria is right about the wallpaper title. Anyway, great job, definitely deserves a ~&fav

f

Cute character, though it's sad that she's blind. Interesting colouring style, but I think I perfer the other technique. As mentioned, her shoulders are small compared to her head and the outlines could be cleaned up better. Nevertheless, cute drawing ^^
